Street Medicine
Healthcare that meets people where they are.
Our Street Medicine program brings compassionate, high-quality healthcare directly to people living unsheltered across the Houston community.
Through a partnership with The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD and the Coalition for the Homeless of Houston/Harris County, our multidisciplinary team provides street-based care up to five days per week. Services include medical care, mental health services, psychiatric care, access to medications, care coordination, and connections to additional healthcare and community resources.
By bringing care directly to encampments and other places where people are living outside, our team works to address immediate health needs, build trust, and create pathways to ongoing care and support.
Street Medicine is grounded in a simple belief: housing status should never be a barrier to receiving respectful, accessible healthcare.
