Dr. David Buck has been appointed to the 15-member Advisory Board of the U.S. Government Accountability Office’s Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP) Program. The board, newly created by the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act will make recommendations to the Department of Health and Human Services on grants and loans to establish nonprofit, member-run health insurers serving the individual and small-group markets.. Professional libility insurance
Preferred commitment of one shift (half day) per week for at least three months; however, other schedule arrangements are possible
Medical Clinics - Primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, psychiatrists -- Provide primary care or psychiatric care for homeless men, women and children in one of our clinics working as a team member with our paid and volunteer clinical and support staff.
Dental Clinics - Dentists and dental hygienists - Provide general dental care for homeless adults in our 3-operatory dental clinic, working as part of our team that includes a dentist, dental assistant, clinic coordinator and dental assistant volunteers.
We also need oral surgeons to volunteer their services.
