General Volunteer Information

  • You’ll provide care for homeless people as part of a dedicated team of clinic employees and volunteers offering medical, dental and mental health services. The clinics are located in, and work in collaboration with, other agencies addressing the complex needs of homeless people.

  • Most of our volunteer positions are ongoing rather than short-term in nature. Volunteers typically commit to serving weekly at a regularly-scheduled time since they are an essential part of our daily clinic operations.

  • Both licensed professional health providers and support volunteers with no previous special training are needed in our clinics.

  • Volunteers must be at least 18 years of age.

  • Medical Clinic Shifts:
    Mornings, Mon. – Fri., 8AM -12noon;
    Afternoons, Mon. – Thurs., 1PM - 4:30PM.
    Volunteers commit to a minimum of one shift per week for at least three months.

  • Dental Clinic Shifts:
    Mornings, Mon. – Thurs., 8AM -12Noon, Fri., 8AM - 1PM;
    Afternoons, Mon. - Thurs., 1PM - 5:00PM.
    Volunteers commit to a minimum of two shifts per week for at least three months.
